Thought it would be useful to share our audio settings (i.e. bass, mid, treble, fader) for your insignia audio system. Please include what system you have i.e. CD 300 mp3, CDC 400 or DVD 800 and what settings you use for eq, fader etc.

Here's mine for starters.

System : CD 300 mp3
Fader setting : B2
Radio eq: bass 0, mid 0, treble 0
CD eq: bass 5, mid 0, treble 5
AUX (iphone/ipod) eq: bass 6, mid 0 treble 0 with ipod eq set to ACOUSTIC

(I've lately been trying the ipod eq set to LOUDNESS and the AUX treble +5, bass 6, mid 0 for a bit more warmth and bass)

I find you cant really push the bass too far on the factory speakers as it just becomes muddy and doesnt extend deep enough but the ipod eq boosts the lower frequencies.

What I remember now in my mind is the following:

System: DVD 800
Fader: -3
Balance: 0
Bass: +5 or 6
Middle: +6
Treble: +4

I don`t remember if there was anything else... if you choose the Rock eq from the presets it`s also nice...and maybe the Disco.

And sorry but... how you set different values for Radio, CD, USB, Aux... :S
