can anyone recommend really good mats for the Insignia? I'm looking for a tailored fit, very good wear on the drivers heal area (I do high miles) and a thick luxury pile. I've looked at the Gold Range from http://www.tailored-carmats.co.uk/vauxhall/sc-insignia.html?z=car-mats - these sound really good quality, but would like any feedback from members.

I believe they won`t fit on Opel? :P I`m in a search for new mats too. Firstly I bought the GM ones from the dealer but the drivers already looks like xxxx... the rest are pretty much OK but i hate it when i see how the driver`s mat looks like..

I guess most consider the irmscher ones, but at £70 I'm not sure they are worth it... and not luxury. Will probably take a chance and try these....

They are nice but my experience of the vauxhall ones is that the heel area of the drivers mat wears very quickly, on my vectra I had vauxhall ones like these and after a couple of years there was a gaping hole in the heel area. I'd like something that lasts even if it costs a bit more, and a nice deep pile.

You could just buy two sets and replace them when they start to wear.

I ordered the Gold series from Tailored car mats for the insignia and they arrived today. Havent put them in the car yet but they look very good quality, genuine vauxhall fittings, leather piping on the edges and a nice 10mm thick pile. Feel they would take some wear and tear, will try and go some photos when I get chance.

I have genuine VX ones and they are very smart..still worried a little about wearing the heel area down so may mod them with a heel plate - tastefully I may add!
