View Full Version : Squeaking Noise

When I apply the brakes I get a squeaking noise which is not unheard of.

Anyhow, when I am turning, right hand down or going around a roundabout the same/sinilar noise appears again, when I have exited the roundabout and straightened up the squeaking disappears.

Any ideas what this could be or is it linked to the squeaking brakes?

cheers in advance

your caliper could be partially seized and not releasing the pad completly best thing to do is grease up the sliders and check your pads like what was said could be a stuck stone paul

I would check your dust guards on the discs first David, you could have a stone jammed in or possibly just need bending back into place??;);)

A colleague of mine took a look at the car today and found that guard on the left brake disc was touching the disc.

It apears this was the problem.
