This has been happening all winter and is now getting annoying. If there is a bit of rain or cold weather the windows in the corsa c keep fogging up and sometimes freeze on the inside. Dose anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it im thinking blocked drain hole or air con problem :help:

Check your scuttle drain Jay as if there are some damp leaves in there then they will cause problems like this. Also if you have mats in your car check under them just in case water from your feet has got underneath.

Sometimes its just the weather in that the heat inside the car reacts with the cold air outside causing the condensation, when you park the car up try leaving the vents open to allow an air flow through the car

I have this on a corsa B and we have tried every thing the only thing we do now is put one of those little plastic tubs that absorb the moisture that they use in caravans and the like they are cheap about £1 a tub and last a couple of months but you have to make sure they dont tip over as the water will come out I zip clip it to the front passengers seat where you adjust the seat back and forward.

My Corsa suffers with this too. I have recently found if you have a sunroof then open it slightly whilst driving, only for a couple of minutes. All the condensation has vanished :).

Do demisting pads work?

check all your door sills to see if they are wearing abit, also the sill around the sunroof if you have one. also you might be suffering from a rusty hole in your bulkhead, so check at the back of the engine bay, and then behind ya dash, so this may lead to a wet floor pan. as long as this all doesnt sound like your heater matrix eek:

Good luck matey ;)

and it may seem obvious . . . but make sure your aircon is pulling the air from outside and not on recirculate or it'll just get worse when you've got 2 or three people in the car.

I've just picked up another brand new car and this is the third since October (change them every 6k which takes about 6 weeks), all of them steam up in use with more than one person in the car unless the aircon is switched on, and in December when it was -18 my car froze on the inside and outside . . . .

Some more good points could be a wet pollen filter and my aircon is not working properly so may have something to do with that cheers for the input guys (-(-

I've got this problem in my Corsa C van aswell, and the carpet was soaking wet under the mat on the drivers side. So after removing all the carpet and sponge and drying out the floor I found it was the seal on the brake servo where it mounts on the bulkhead, by hosing the van down. Still havent fixed the problem yet so when its wet or gets washed I get a puddle in the footwell and steamed up windows. Worth a look perhaps........

At last me and Nige started work on the corsa today after doing a bit to his Exclusive looks so nice on its new rims :D:hysterical:, we had some fun removing a fair few things to get to the brake servo seal but we got there after much cursing and having a brake peddle stuck in me eye socket :hysterical: Nige tuck some great pics of his car and mine and he will post them up soon(-

I have tested my repair and it HAS WORKED:wooo::wooo: pored 2 watering cans of water directly on the seal and not a drop as come into the car  now the rebuild of the interior starts as the leak has been there for years and the carpet smells really bad :thud: so may get a new one from vauxhall as the original is rotten in places to as its been wet for so long

Cost to fix at vauxhall £500+

My cost £8.00 for the tiger seal and £10 for the under seal plus a lot of swearing at the break servo nuts :hysterical::hysterical:

Hear are a few pics of the rebuild

That was pretty much what I ended up doing with my old Corsavan except I used Unibond roof and gutter sealant. Glad to hear its solved the problem. Also if you start to notice a wet floor on the passenger side it is the seal on the body control module gone.
