Looks very very nice

Altho the engine is the wrong way round, and i'm sure there is 2 cylinders missing, and i'm almost positive they should be rear wheel drive.....:D

Thanks guys (-

Full spec is as follows - well what I can remember :D

Full Leather.
Heated front seats.
Electric Folding Wing Mirrors - can also set them up to auto point to the kerb side when reverse is engaged - neat trick.
Front and Rear parking sensors.
Dual zone electronic climate control with heat reflective windscreen.
i-Pod and USB connections.
3 x 12v power sockets.
Passenger controlled air vents in rear.
Electronic adjustable front seats with 2 x memory settings in drivers seat, with Lumbar support - this lumbar support is the best yet I've come across as it is elctrically adjusted up / down/front/back.
Dynamic Headlight beam levelling.
Intelligent AFL headlights with power washers - this is just so cool and has to be seen to believe - additional lights come on to see the edge of pavements/road when turning a corner. Auto lights on and camera sensor built into front of rear view mirror.
Auto main beam on/off when conditions apply / when camera picks up oncoming headlights or rear lights of a car in front.
Front fog lamps.
Am / FM RDS TMC Radio / Single CD / MP3 / Sat Nav (DvD) 7" Colour monitor with 7 speakers 20watts per channel and Shark Fin Aerial System.
Electronic Push Button Handbrake.
Onboard computer displays various options - Digital reading of speed, Average speed, average fuel consumption, live fuel consumption, Miles left in fuel tank, Oil level %.
Electronic Stabilty control (ESP), Traction Control, Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Cornering Brake Control, Emergency Brake Assist, Straight Line stability Control and Adaptive Brake lights - press the brakes hard and your brakes lights flash whilst ABS cuts in.
Hill Start Assist - another cool feature stopping the car rolling forward or backwards when electronic handbrake is released.
Electro Chromatic anti dazzle rear view and drivers side wing mirror.
LED front daytime running lights.
Visible stainless Steel exhaust pipe.
Rain sensitive windcreen wipers.

I'm sure I've missed some others out but a mighty fine car to drive (-

Cheers all ;)

i know i`ve made a few anti commments, but the ones i do stand by is the drive,it is one of the best in its class, and the spec again is more 5 series than 3 series in my view.

I'll be orderering an Elite Nav 2.0 Twin Turbo CDTi 190 at the end of the year. Hopefully going for the Sports Tourer in Black an 19's.

Depending on budget I may opt for the 4x4 as well.

But yours looks fantastic.(-

Thanks Guys,

Yip, the Tourer is one mighty car, Vauxhall have a winner with the Insignia in all it's variants :)

Ian - I do agree , It's the most comfortable car I've driven and I just need to get a Bluetooth handsfree fitted then I'll be sorted.

I got just under 650 miles on it's first full tank of diesel, not too bad as this will improve as the car loosens up. Still trying to keep the revs no more than 2K. Parking sensors at the front are a must as that nose is big and pointed.

The sound system is great - although having to put up with my sons tastes in music while they take control of the music :o

The dash is cool at night Mitch, all lit up in Red with the dials in White.

Cheers all :D

why are you keeping the revs below 2000k ?

Hi Whoosh,

Just breaking the new car in gently and saving fuel :)

I've always gone easy with new cars, old habits I suppose ;)

Cheers,

I thought you had found the maximum fuel economy rev band - I reckon it, around 2,500 rpm - in the middle of the high torques area...I got 42 mpg over 600 miles of "brisk" driving inthe loaner I had...
