Hi All,

Many thanks to the original person listing the pdf copy of the Insignia Sat Nav manual - I couldn't find the original listing sorry.

Click link below for a pdf copy of the manual:

Thought it would help if it had a page of it's own to help others (-

Cheers :)

Cheers Mitch :D

Yeah, pity some of the dealers are not checking to make sure it's in the car as part of their PDI.

Thanks again (-

It's amazing how frustrating it is knowing you have finally found the link to the Sat Nav manual then find the link doesn't work anymore.
Can anyone upload one?

Hi
I was going to post the question but somebody might be able to help on the POST CODE issue.
In the CITY field, you can only enter the first 3 or 4 characters of a postcode e.g. AB22 or DD10 and then the Satnav will show you a list you can choose from. BUT this list only contains one character from the second part of a postcode. e.g.
AB22 8 or DD10 6 it does not show a complete postcode.
Is this a fault in the Satnav ? Is there a newer software release that fixes this problem? How can I get round the problem?
Thanks
Nigel

If it's the DVD800 unit like mine - then you need a software update.

I have tried and it appears you can only do a sw and map update from an original 2009/2010 disk. (tried from 2 different "backup" disks and it updates the sw but will not update the maps - without the updated maps it will not work.
Borrow one or buy one...

Just remember that if you do it that way you can only upload a limited set of maps - so if you want France instead of UK, you will need to borrow one again, or go back to your original 5 digit postcode version.

The flash drive on mine has both UK and France loaded on it so anyone using more than one country could have more than one. I dont know how many countries worth of data it will hold and guess it depends on the size of the country and ammount of roads?

Also im willing to offer my Satnav disc by post. The conditions are:

Whoever wants it puts a £50 FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit in my paypal account
Whoever wants it pays postage there and back (recorded)
Finally it comes back undamaged or the £50 will be retained.

PM me for further details.

Just to mention that a new disc is some 200 euro's so 50 pounds is like a good deal to have it stolen:D
