HELLO PEEOPLE.

Today i went to the dealer to see it. It is awesome. What a pity, but no number plates. They will register it on Monday. Here are some pictures :)

Oh how nice is that!!!:D:D:cool::cool:

I am liking the pedals, i don't think we have this option available:(

Yesterday, i checked vauxhall.co.uk and i saw that the choice there is very limited.I have to show u how the pricelist here looks like. You won`t understand anything from the bulgarian but you can have an idea how rich it is. By the way, these pedals are standart on Sport trim level, or on request if ordered OPC Line pack(VXR for u as well)

here is a linky to pricelist: http://opel.bg/site/local_image/pricepdf/insignia.pdf prices are in BGN but divide them by 2 and you get the price in Euro :)

ha same as me but without the bluetooth and parking sensors, and ive ordered a sight/light pack with mine and the 20"alloys

and i went for technical grey. I quite liked the black aswell though. And the sovereign silver, but ive got silver now, and my last car was black so went for the grey seeing as the one in the show room was grey and i nearly wet my pants when i saw it lol

Thought the silver lightning looked good too but wasnt sure 100% on that one. Still as long as no1 orders Myth Green then we're all alright. What a skanky colour lol

Mine's tech grey too, it is a nice colour and one that looks really good on this car. Only issue I've found with the tech grey, is that every little stone chip shows up really bad.:(

The undercoat on the bumper's is white, so obviously stone chips etc. really stand out a lot. I saw a 58 plate Insignia in tech grey on my dealers forcourt the other day which was peppered with loads of white spots across the front, certainly bad enough IMO to warrant a respray to the bumper.
It looked like it had been machine gunned across the front.:(

I've already picked up a couple of chips to the front myself, and have noticed that the paint/laquer coats are extremely thin indeed.:( My last car was Lightning Silver and so fancied a change this time, and I do think tech grey looks one of the best colours on the Insignia together with black, but AIS they do show the marks.

Bl***y hell Happy, i know i'm only knocking about but i'm only getting around 31 mpg, done around 500 miles that's all, do you think it will improve?

Still love it though, going Croft tomorrow so i'll see what it does going there and back around 320miles of mostly Motorways

:D:D

Yip it will improve, I've done a lot of motorway driving and cruising around 60 - 65, just enjoying the drive (-

You could reset your average mpg once you fill up and before you set off on the motorway (depress button on top of left multifuntion stalk to reset) this will give you a true reading of how the car performs on a long journey compared to your non motorway driving.

I got up to 53mpg on the motorway but has come down to 51 for the past couple of weeks. Dealer tells me that will improve as time goes on, but really depends on how I drive - I don't always drive so slow ;)

I'm actually enjoying driving on the motorway around 60mph, still get to destination in time and a lot less stressed, plus savings on the fuel :D and don't tell me it's because i'm Scottish  ;);)

Have fun

Cheers :)

The price of fuel we have to take our time now!!:(:(:(

Nice to see these consumtion figure, but round town 31 is pretty good tbh, think the book says 28mpg??:confused:

My 1.8VVT is showing a average of 30.7 at the moment, though its not been on the motorway at all yet, or done any long runs. Lots of hills round here, so for local town use, its not too bad I suppose. It was originally showing 28.2 mpg when I picked it up, so perhaps the guy who did the first 72 miles prior to my receiving it may have been heavy on the pedal. :( MPG figure seems to be rising slowly as its gets used , just over 600 miles on it currently.

Re-set these can't you, then you'll see what you have been doing??:confused:

One can obviously reset each of the trips, but did'nt realise you could reset other settings too...lol Have to try it. I thought it sort of reset itself when you have the tank filled, as the fuel range does seem to reset when its filled up at the pumps.... Will try it anyway...cheers.

Went up to Croft yesterday for the BTCC, and it averaged 44mpg over the 320mile round trip, and i averaged over 62mph, so i'm happy with that, it is an auto which isn't going to do as much as a manual is it.

Thats good mpg & good average too, its quite hard to get your average above 60mph tbh.(-(-

That's what i thought, i was quite surprised when i checked the computer, mind you we were hovering around the 80's most of the time!!!

Give it time guys :D

I hit 53mpg on the motorways but sitting at 51 now, I'm sure there is still a bit more to go after a few thousand extra miles ;)

Cheers :)

What is the Liter per 100km equivallent to ~50mpg? From Bulgaria to France i did 6.6 l/100km with driving to the limit in germany. Avg speed there ~180km/h. I got the top of 222 :P with my 130bhp Diesel :)

Uh... that bad :S How u manage to make more mpg? :S On most of the highways i was on cruise control at the limited speed 120/130 on 6th gear.
