After I was in a hurry for ordering my Insignia the Infinity system was still closed for ordering, so I`ve just ordered the normal DVD 800. Now.. I wonder is it possible to install the system.I assume that changing the 7 premium speakers with the infinity ones is not difficult. Installing the additional 2 on the back shouldn`t be a big problem, but.. the amplifier.Could it be plug&play only or cable reassignment is required. Can I only change speakers add amplifier and as a result to have Infinity?

I`m pretty sure that someone that has idea of audio installations can answer my question. It`s about connecting an amplifier, nothing more :)

Right you need to take a heavy gauge live wire direct from battery to amp, you need a same gauge earth cable bolted inside your boot and connected to the earth point on your amp, also a normal single wire going from a wire on your hu that is live when the hu is on, you also need a set of rca cables going from hu to amp, then your speakers connct to the outputs on the amp. all in it's about a days work. you still wanna amp your siggy???

this website might help you some more. http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/

good luck mate.

changing the stock speakers for the infinity ones shouldn't be that difficult, and should give you a better sound, but be warned. infinity speakers don't come cheap!!!!
hope this helps.

Here is a wiring diagram for the amp it uses low level outputs from the radio so in theory could be wired in.
