It was recently brought to my attention that Vauxhall are using both Imperial and Metric figures to make their cars look better than they are  so thought id share!!
For example, they quote the power of the car in PS (METRIC) yet they quote 0-60mph (IMPERIAL)
PS stands for pafensake which is the metric BHP. 160PS / 0.013 = 158BHP So they have quoted PS in this instance as it clearly appears more powerful.
The 0-60MPH times quoted by vauxhall are in imperial, where as most other manufacturers use 0-62mph which equates to 100kmph which is obviously metric!
They appear to be able to pick and choose which figures they use to suit themselves. Is it fair? Should it be allowed? Had you even noticed?
What are your thoughts? And is this clear enough to understand?
