yes ive driven around for 5 months now since ordering my insignia and have really noticed how yellow the standard daytime running lights are compared to the led ones. ive honestly never seen such a "yellow" bulb before and it looks a bit naff hence trying anything to whiten them up as per camerons help!

That is a good price for those PIAA sidelight bulbs, I found somewhere selling them for almost half what I paid for mine, that my be the place I found.

If anyones interested I actually removed all the upgraded bulbs from my Insignia before I sold it and replaced the originals in the car. I figured they had made enough out of me...lol
So I have a full set of upgraded fronts here, only had a few hours use. PM me if anyone interested.

Also have a couple of extra sets of other upgraded main and dipped, including a genuine VX spare bulb set in Plastic box which came with my Insignia as part of the protection kit.

Those PIAA sidelight bulbs BTW are a pure white in colour, they have a blue glass which gives the whiter light effect, however I should mention that although they give a nice white appearance and do look better, they are not so bright overall as the yellowish original bulbs.

I left in the Insignia shaped to the car boot liner which had a 2" raised lip all around the edge, about £30 off ebay, I could have taken that out too...lol ah well..

Nice motor mitch . I wil get one next year. There should be some in the auctions next year.

When I got my Insignia it was the first one in the area back in Feb, now I see
on the dealers web-site to-day they have about six in the used car lot, all Jan 09 so they have come from elsewhere. mileage between 6k and 10k.
So what does that say for them?:(

Hi
the main reason for dealers now having used Insignia`s will be that they are VX ex demo/management staff from Luton.
this has always happened and always will....
VX Luton will registar loads of cars before they even hit the public market to ensure there are some used ones on the market for those who cant afford the brand new one.
used to work in sales at VX dealership...

AHH! wish I hada knew that before ! anyway some with 10k miles were still
more money than i paid for brand new .
So theres something for potential recruits to consider now!

Exactly why its done
to encoureage those to maybe spend an extra few £££ on a brand new model.

Got the same 8 gig stick in my car. Remember the limit is 1000 files and folders.
Keep meaning to get a brodit clip, will sort it out once I've got my CID replaced.
