At least in seems to be Europe wide, the Insignia problems. Opel needs to get a grip on this quickly before it loses customers in droves to the likes of VW/Audi, BMW etc.

It certainly appears there's quite a few customers even over there that are having issue's too, though TBH I was already aware of that, as I used to read the german Insignia forums quite often in the early days of ownership, as there was little on line on the Uk one's at the time.

Having a browse at some of the posts, I was a bit surprised that they too seem to be having to wait some time for parts. One guys cars been off the road for a radiator hose pipe and his dealer says it will be about a week before he gets a replacement. It's things like this that's going to do immense damage in the long run if things dont improve quickly.
The thing is... its been in production since last November I believe, and on sale here in the UK since Jan 6th, and the spare parts situation does'nt seem to have improved at all... not good.:(

I am sure these were in production well before, as i was at Milbrook testing these out, in October, so its a good year(scuse the pun) of production.;);) I can only hope they do get there fingers from up ther as*es soon.

They would have been made well before then as you say, they had quite a few of them on the roads being tested for some time abeit dis-guised slightly, but I think I read a car mag feature saying full production on the lines was around end of Oct/ early Nov, and they were struggling to meet orders. Funny enough I never saw one properly until it appeared at the motor show, that's when I fell in love with it, and instantly thought I gotta have one of those..:D It was at a time when I had decided to get rid of the Vec-c as it was now over 2 years old, and I was starting to look for something else. You could only get the exclusiv 160 and 1.8 versions at the time, and there was a long wait even for those back then.

Milbrook was a great day out and it sold the Insignia to me. I would have been driving an Audi A4 with a lot less specs on it.
