Hi everyone,

Do any of you know if there is a way to permanently disable the internal motion sensor on the insignia?

I know this can be done each time you lock the car by pressing the button on the ceiling next to the interior lights, but I'm keen to know if I can turn this feature off once and for all.

May be as simple as removing a fuse or 12v or earth lead to the sensor.

Or maybe the Insignia equivalent to Tech 2 (Canbus) might turn it off.

Not that I am aware, other than pull a fuse as mentioned above, just wondering why you would want to do this, has the Mrs forced you out of the house and your'e sleeping in the car...LOL(-

Just picked mine up, press the button on the ceiling between the two motion sensors and it says motion sensors dissabled. Not sure if this is permanent or just the once off like you mentioned, but then again my car is only about half an hour old!!

Im still playing with buttons!
