well, as plans dont always work as we want them too, this must go.
has few areas that need tlc, previous owner dicided to fill in a few of the slight imperfections , so od places needs sanding touching up.
rear windows are held up with wood, previous owner never told me the clips on runners were snapped.
no engine, engine loom, or ecu.
gearbox is in the vehicle as are shafts aswell.
bear linkage, brakes, steering etc is still there, interior has all been removed for rust protecting inside, all needs putting back, as does the cars loom.
very solid, had lots of work to try keep it alive. undersealed etc, new arches, new sills,
will come as a standerd gli does, gsi alloys im keeping,
NEEDS TO GO OR WILL BE STRIPPED OF AXLES DOORS WINGS ETC AND SCRAPPED
must go SOON MY GSI SHELL IS GOING FOR WEDNESDAY IF NO INTREST THIS WILL GO WITH IT.
FAMILY COMMITMENTS MEAN IT 100% HAS TO GO.
£100 NO offers
v5 present in my name, no plates as i never got any with it

But you can tow a dolly mate
If a company is delivering from your end of town down south and running back empty sometimes they do you a good deal.

Aye, dolly is definatly out though - certainly for me. got my license the wrong side of 95 to be able to tow anything other than in an emergency.

uh? Dont understand thought you could tow up 750kg or 3500kg combined?
envoy cdx

Cavalier is 1500kg though. granted it's probably less without the engine but still...
not something I wish to run the risk on.

You got me worried there as its not too clear on the licence and ive been towing my caravan about :D
If using a dolly / A frame you gotta be under 75% of your tow cars curb weight, dolly must be braked;) etc etc. The law on these seems to differ from county to county eg if car is not taxed it cant be on the road, not even just it`s rear wheels.
Tom, Dick and Harry will tell you 3 different stories but if your going to move a car, be safe and be legal.
Towing dollys always seems to open up a can of worms

a towing dolly is indeed a total can of worms , i used to tow my mates cars to the banger racing on the back of my cavalier with a dolly , police always seemed to pull the trailer boys over & leave us well alone , maybe they thought it was too much like hard work .:eek:

I got a price from mitch and nearly passed out - pondering expenses and such.
It would actually work out cheaper to come down with an engine in the boot, drop it in, and mot it there and then than get it recovered :S

I think I'll have to pass on this - sorry if it appears like I've messed you about - wasn't intended as such.
