For sale
Vauxhall Cavalier mk2 1.6L (1983 (A))

Genuine 21,720 miles from new! (old mot's to prove)

Good points:-
Low Mileage
All 4 tyres have only done 418 miles
MOT Jan 2009
New core plug recently fitted
Interior like new but has faded with age.
Bodywork in generally good condition.

Bad Points:-
1 small dent in drivers door
Tiny piece of corrosion on bottom of front screen
Few small rust patches around rear screen (mainly surface although some are getting close to holes)
Small patches of rust at the bottom of each rear wheelarch

As you can see from the pictures below the car is in very good condition for its age. Apart from the bad points listed above it will need an oil pressure switch and gas struts for the tailgate.

The car is located in Thetford, Norfolk and I have heard it running and once warm it runs well. The car would benefit from a full service as i am not sure when the cambelt was last changed and unless you live locally I would advise that it is trailered away.

The car has been in the same family for around 15 years and the reason the owner is selling the car is because his wife no longer drives.

This is a rare chance to get a car which is becoming very rare.

The price is £500 o.n.o

If you are interested or require further details please PM vauxhallnutter or send an e-mail to contact@vodc.co.uk
Or phone the club and leave a message.

The reason I have advertised this in here first is I would really like it to go to a club member. I will leave it exclusively in the 'Club Members Area' only for a week to give you first 'dibs' then it will go in the general for sale section.

tidy old MK2 there Mark, but I wonder if £750 is a bit steep? Its prob worth up to £500? ..... dunno...... Mk1's are still fetching stupidly low money after all.

Nice car though! respect

This car has now been reduced to £500 o.n.o.

The owner is very keen to sell so will most likely 'talk about' the price!

If you're interested please PM vauxhallnutter

Remember this one? Well its place in the car port has been replaced by a piece of Korean xxxx so i fear that this car has been the victim of that xxxxin xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx scheme!!:mad::mad:

Unless anyone knows different????:D

If it has gone to the SS then the owner deserves to be strung up by his wosits in my opinion!!

It was plugged loads when it was first put up and only recently went into the archives. I reserected the thread yesterday because when i went for a walk with the dog I noticed that it had gone and a korean car had taken its place.

It was down Abbeygate and stood there for years and then he MOT'd it and then contacted us. It ran very well and the bodywork was in really good nick apart from round the back window which was nowt.

It would be a shame if it has gone this way but i fear that it has:mad:
