I see a lot of people, who have been members for a while, post up on the site to say, 'OOO I didn't see that post when it was posted!'
The easiest way to make sure you don't miss anything is to click on the 'New Posts' tab either in the top Navbar or under where the welcome panel is on the homepage.
The good thing about doing it this way is that if you dont have time to read all the new posts in one go then next time you visit the posts that you havent read will still come up as new until you read them.
The figure in the welcome panel may read '0' but there still may be some new ones from previous visits that you havent read.
